Paint the Town is one of the largest volunteer events in the Northwest. Since 1982 nearly 86,500 volunteers have painted over 3,150 homes in the area for senior and disabled residents. Meridian and Eagle Branch volunteers spent several hours prepping a home for paint prior to actually painting it. The owner of the home has several severe health issues, including failing vision, a pacemaker, and being an amputee. When the painting and yard work had been completed, the homeowner was touched by the volunteers’ hard work. The Branches are continuing their effort for the homeowner by raising enough money to install new doors and fix an exterior wall.
